My favorite code editor

Like or unlike many devs, my first code editor was the humble notepad on Windows. No, not Notepad++, Notepad. The simplest text editor. No syntax highlighting, no auto formatting, just a blank white pad you can write text in and save in any file format.

I remember one time in secondary school where my friends and I created .bat files and ran them on the school computers.
