Role: Designer & Frontend Engineer Scope: End-to-end, large multi-page build
Spurbuddy is a corporate innovation and digital transformation agency with a broad service offering spanning experience design, technology, business strategy, and operations. Translating that breadth into a website that feels organised rather than overwhelming was the central design challenge.
The navigation alone reflects the complexity: four capability clusters (Experience, Accelerate, Technology, Seamless), each with multiple sub-services, all needing to be discoverable without burying the top-level message. The solution was a structured mega-menu that groups services logically, letting users orient quickly whether they are arriving for design thinking or cloud infrastructure.
Each service has its own dedicated page, meaning the build involved designing and developing a consistent page template that could carry very different content without feeling generic. Across more than fifteen service pages, the visual system had to hold together.
The homepage leads with a video hero, anchoring the agency's energy before the services are introduced. Awards from Business Insider Africa and recognition as a top product design startup are surfaced early, lending credibility without leading with credentials.
Spurbuddy was built earlier in my career and represents the point at which I started taking on genuinely large-scale, multi-page client work.
